I am a freelance web and product designer currently residing in the heart of Appalachia. I have been creating websites since I was just a young kid and it's been one of my few consistent passions since then! My first love was front end development (html and css) and I've gone on to study graphic design as well as user experience design (UX).
I studied graphic and web design at the Art Institute of California - San Diego and am a graduate of General Assembly's User Experience Design Immersive in New York City. In my spare time, I mentor General Assembly's newest UX design students! All of this has helped me to become a well-rounded designer with an in-depth knowledge of what it takes to launch a website that excels for both businesses and end users.
When I am not building websites or mentoring, I enjoy spending time in nature (hiking, growing food, taking care of our rescued farm animals), reading, and creating new plant-based meals. If you've got a potential project you'd like to talk about, please don't hesitate to reach out. The web can be an intimidating place, but there is still room for you or your business to make your mark!
Another fun fact: I've lived in Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska, California, New York, California (again), Maryland, Pennsylvania, and now West Virginia. Who knows where I'll end up next. :)
I'm available to discuss new web design, development, and product design projects. Get in touch if you like my work, process, and think we could make an awesome project together (or if you'd like to learn more)! I'm looking forward to your message.
